Joe Bridgeman

Hello, I’m Joe Bridgeman. I’ve been a client of White Stone for the last two and a half years, and prior to that, Matthew has been my financial adviser for around eight to nine years.

I’m getting to the stage now in my life where I want to carry on working – I’ve always enjoyed that so much – but I want to make the necessary investments and arrangements for the future, not only for myself, but for my family too.

Matthew’s always been very professional. He’s given my wife and I the very best of advice. The lovely thing about Matthew is that he will always come and speak to us directly; we don’t have to use any other media, it’s always in person. He’s very thorough at explaining everything to us, and we’ve always been extremely comfortable and grateful for that.

Matthew has been able to align not only the private investment side for my wife and myself, but he’s also been able to measure that up against the fact that I have my own business as well. So, to get the measure of the two has been so useful and so important to us. Also, within the last few years, I lost my parents, and therefore had to do things like house sales, make probate, and all that goes with that. Matthew’s part in that – his advice and his support at a time which is often challenging – has been incredibly good for us.

The financial future is looking good, fortunately. I have no intention of retiring, so whilst I’m still working, and indeed, whilst my wife is working, we’ve got a plan. Matthew set a clear plan out for us that we can continue with and we are very happy to do so.

The three words that I’d associate with Matthew are integrity, capability, and honesty.

The best thing about working with Matthew is that he’s so on the ball and up to date, and we know that any advice that he gives us will be right on point and suit us at any time, based on the investments that we have with him.

I think the best piece of advice that Matthew has given us is to stick to our level of risk, and not to go either above or below. He’s been very thorough, we work everything out, and we spend time doing that, so we know that the investments and advice that he gives us always suit us perfectly.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Matthew; in fact, I have done on a number of occasions. It’s been a joy to me that the people to whom I’ve recommended him have all come back and thanked me. So long may that continue, and it will continue, because he offers a first-class service.
